6 Part-time 4 hours ago Full Job Description Seeking an enthusiastic person with excellent communication skills and physical stamina interested in job coaching two differently-abled young adults in an 18-22 post-secondary school program, and at the students' vocational training sites.

Responsibilities:
-Support the special education teacher/transition coordinator, and related staff in developing prerequisite skills for job placement.
-Assist special education students individually and in groups in acquiring pre-employment skills and reinforcing skills to increase independence.
-Accompany students into the community for on the job training at vocational sites.
-Supervise, reteach, and monitor student performance in a variety of work settings.
-Maintain a daily log (data collection) on student performance.
-Drive school vans to job sites.
-Acts as liaison for communication between community-based employers and the school.
-Speaks to the students using appropriate voice modulation.
-Implements student behavior programs as needed:
positive reinforcement, breaks, time outs, etc.
, as designed by the BCBA and the team.
-Works as a team player.
-Attends supervision and staff meetings.
-Offer input to the Individual Education Plan (IEP) for each student as needed.
-Ensure compliance with labor laws and student safety.

Qualifications:
-High school diploma or GED-Associates Degree preferred-Valid drivers license required.
-Prior experience working with students with disabilities preferred -Able to work in both indoor and outdoor settings.
-Training or coursework in special education preferred-Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Program Administrator and Executive Director may find appropriate and acceptable.
REPORTS TO:
Program Administrator.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
