Summary:
We're looking for a Sales Planning Analyst to join our team! Working alongside the Sales Planning Manager, the Sales Planning Analyst will be responsible for developing insights and analytics to help drive the multi-serve and single serve juice platforms in our retail division.
Where You'll Work / Hybrid Work Model:
This role will be based out of our Concord, MA headquarters with Thursdays and Fridays being flexible remote days.
On occasion, this cadence may shift based on business needs.

What You'll Do:
Support the Sales Planning Manager by way of developing insights and analytics to drive profitable revenue for Welch's for your assigned platforms.
Support the Sales Planning Manager in the monthly S&OP/demand consensus process, assessing and quantifying drivers - good and bad - versus plan and prior year.
Develop tools, analytics, and selling decks for the sales team in support of our annual objectives.
Attend customer calls with Customer Team Leaders to learn and support in team selling efforts.
Track and measure progress against new item launches, slotting expenditures, and reset schedules through the New Item Tracker process.
Incorporate these findings into the demand consensus process.
Support new item launches including organizing sample orders & selling materials.
Develop tracking metrics against sales objectives including distribution, pricing, and trade.
Quantify and communicate findings/risks/opportunities during S&OP - as well as to the larger team - with proposed recommendations.
Leverage trade efficiency principles to analyze pricing and promotional performance for assigned platforms; ensure trade spend guidelines are being adhered to.
Monitor channel price architecture and ensure effective price gaps exist; raise areas of opportunity / concern to sales planning manager to determine next steps.
Monitor competitive product lines to identify new or discontinued skus, price changes, and promotional changes.
Effectively manage and update content on SharePoint for assigned products.
Support trade shows and customer events for the RETAIL team as needed.
Who You Are:
You have strong analytical skills, and a desire to learn.
High proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
PowerBI and SharePoint skills a plus.
Proven sales presentation development skills.
Solid interpersonal skills, particularly in building credibility and collaborative relationships.
The ability to objectively balance cross-functional requirements and demands.
Experience with major US-based retail channels.
Excellent organization and time management skills.
Experience with business development / attending sales calls.
A team player with a can-do attitude.
What You'll Need:
Minimum 1 year of related experience in CPG, Food/Beverage, and/or retail environments Bachelor's degree in Business or related field is required.
A combination of education, applicable training, and experience that results in demonstrated ability to perform the work may be substituted Demonstrated success conducting general analytics is a must; understanding of category management and trade management is preferred Excel and PowerPoint skills are required Familiarity with PowerBI, Nielsen and/or Circana (Iri) is a plus Knowledge and understanding of trade investment performance dynamics is a plus Some travel required (approximately 10%) What You'll Enjoy:
