Aviation Maintenance Instructor Supervisor:

Responsibilities:
Provide instruction in aviation maintenance technology to students in compliance with FAA, State and regulatory body requirements.
Demonstrate proper safety procedures See that equipment and/or labs are properly maintained Establish and maintain academic and attendance records Submit attendance, grades, student evaluation, and all other required documentation and reports per established procedures Maintain a neat and orderly classroom or lab Develop and maintain positive professional relationships with class participants.
Work as a team member with all other instructors
Qualifications:
All applicants subject to a pre-employment drug screen Must have an FAA A&P certificate.
Must have 3 or more years of hands-on experience in aircraft maintenance (special considerations will be given for more diverse experience).
Highschool diploma or equivalent Prefer prior instructional experience.
Prefer experience troubleshooting and maintaining a wide variety of aircraft systems.
Prefer knowledge and understanding of Airmen Certification Standards (ACS) specifically the general subjects required to receive a rating of Airframe or Power Plant.
