Job Summary

Reporting to the Clinical Nurse Manager of PACU, provides airway assessment and management, cardiac and hemodynamic monitoring, pulse oximetry, and ongoing nursing assessment, diagnosis and intervention to all patients receiving any anesthetic which serve to alter the patient's level of consciousness in the immediate post-operative phase.
Responsible for utilizing the nursing process to provide comprehensive care appropriate to the age of the patients served on their assigned unit, as directed by nursing management.
Nursing care is provided in accordance with the stated philosophy and standards established by the Nursing Service Department, regulatory agencies and professional organizations.
The Registered Nurse is accountable for the safety of nursing care they deliver or supervise.

The Registered Nurse is responsible to the patient and the family or significant others for the quality of direct and indirect nursing care delivered.

Minimum Qualifications

Education

o Graduate of accredited school of nursing required.

Experience

o A minimum two years of medical/surgical experience required.

o Critical care or emergency experience preferred.

Licensure and/or Certification

o Current license as a professional nurse in Massachusetts required.

o BLS healthcare provider required.

o ACLS required.

o PALS required.

Skills

o Excellent customer service skills.

o Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English.

o Computer skills required.

o Ability to maintain confidential information.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
