The New Graduate RN Transition Program is a special orientation program for the new nurse wishing to gain nursing skills through a combination of both classroom learning and hands-on clinical training. The program is designed to support the nurse's transition to the acute care setting through precepted experiences.

Members of the New Graduate Nurse Residency will participate in a year-long program structured by Vizient/AACN, which includes once a month classroom time with your cohort.

Emerson Hospital runs New Gradute Nurse Residency Programs twice a year- August and March.

Our next new graduate nurse residency program will begin August 27, 2024. Interviews will begin in May 2024.

  • Medical/Surgical Areas
  • Emergency Department
  • Behavioral Health
  • Mother/Baby (August Cohort only, when available)

Resume
Current MA RN license (or Board Eligible)
Current CPR certification
Cover Letter stating area(s) of interest

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
