Summary:
Reporting to the EMR Manager, the Applications Analyst Level II is responsible for providing proficient, professional, and skilled support for the Emerson Physician Hospital Organization's (PHO) GE Centricity environment and other state of the art ancillary applications. The Application Analyst Level II will work in a team environment to provide first and second level support, training, and expertise to PHO offices. The Analyst may also provide training to other employees on the various applications and will frequently spearhead initiatives with physician offices and Emerson Hospital departments to maximize the efficiency and use of electronic information systems.
Minimum
Qualifications:
Education: A bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Health Policy, Nursing, Health Economics or a related field and/or commensurate experience with helpdesk applications support or Electronic Medical Records.
Experience: Four years of experience in the Health Information's Systems industry, or similar.
Licensure and/or Certification: None
Skills:
Demonstrated experience in the field of Information Systems
Ability to set up and troubleshoot interfaces between primary and ancillary applications.
Ability to learn new Software packages quickly and thoroughly
Proficiency with VBA, VFE or other languages
Excellent customer service, decision making, and organizational skills.
Ability to communicate effectively (orally and written) to technical and non-technical audiences in English.
Ability to maintain confidential information.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
