Job Summary:
Reporting to the Chief Physical Therapist, the Senior Rehab Aide is responsible for supporting the rehab staff with routine patient care, modalities and support activities to assure timely flow of the clinic schedule and to support a positive patient experience. Responsibilities for additional functions include general housekeeping, ordering and stocking of supplies, patient reception, assisting with patient care, and treatment room turnover.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent required. College degree in exercise science or other health related field preferred.
Two to five years healthcare/patient care experience in a rehabilitation setting preferred.
Licensure and/or Certification: None required.
Clinical expertise for the age and type of patients seen.
Problem-solving skills.
Must execute sound judgment all duties.
Courteous and professional manner when dealing with people in person and on the phone.
Ability to prioritize workload and respond to urgent needs.
Committed to Service Excellence and customer satisfaction.
Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English.
Computer skills required.
Ability to maintain confidential information.
Demonstrate flexibility to support patient and department needs.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
